Today we spun a Spider Web
The weather today was great for playing outside. My nephew Cooper and Niece Caylee spent the day here with me. We went out in the back to play. We took out the ride on toys for the first time this spring, we searched for worms and played construction site. The rule for the day was that they had to get filthy dirty!!!!! The kids were starting to get tired & hungry. We had Supper, we ate outside and than they wanted to do ” something fun “. I brought a skein of pink and brown yarn. They each took one and we spun a great big spider web around the yard. We wrapped the yarn around the trees and swing set , back and forth and over each other. They were thrilled. We each took turns getting stuck in the web. I read this idea in a copy of Family Fun magazine. The only regret is that I did not take any photo’s. If anyone tries this please be careful no one gets hurts. I watched them very carefully as I started to worry they would trip or get tied in the web. It was a real fun way to spend my day off from work.
